Tenz bounding across the Green Bridge heading back from UQ this morning.
Had 3 days off work trying to get over the flu & finally feeling better I've been out for an easy 5k on Tues; 6k on Thurs &; 10k this morning @ 5min k pace. Cool & foggy about 7am, a hot air balloon cruised overhead as we made our way thru' Fairfield & down to the Green Bridge (aka Eleanor Schonell Bridge; Go Betweens Bridge; UQ Bridge). Up the perimeter running path, T off the lead as usual, he maintained a couple of metres on me - even when I tried to speed up & snap his photo. Turn at the 5 k mark (as measured on Google Earth) & return, finishing in 49 mins.

If I didn't say it before, congratulations on your half at Gold Coast.
It would be cool to run with a dog but we have greyhounds which are too quick for the first few minutes and then useless for the rest of the time.
